We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team at our Montreal East (Quebec) site. This i s a permanent position from Monday through Friday, day shift. Reporting to the inventory supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating daily store operations, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping materials. You will be expected to actively participate in tasks with the inventory clerks (your team) while ensuring that the tasks performed by your team are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with procedures. What you'll be responsible for: • Coordinate the daily tasks of inventory clerks while ensuring the integration, training, and coaching of new employees • Communicate organizational objectives and performance indicators to your team • Participate in performance evaluation and disciplinary management processes • Conduct OHS follow-ups on the application of rules and assess employees' needs for personal protective equipment • Ensure that the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and spare parts are carried out in accordance with procedures • Be the point of contact for urgent requests • Participate with the team in cyclical inventory counts • Maintain order and cleanliness in stores and workplaces • Be actively involved in continuous improvement projects related to stores and inventory • Replace team members as needed To join our team: • Hold a DEC, AEC, or DEP and have 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in an industrial, operational, or warehousing environment • Have experience in inventory management and validation • Communicate effectively in French and English, both verbally and in writing • Demonstrate strong decision-making, coordination, organizational, and team supervision skills • Be able to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines • Have a strong focus on quality and service • Be comfortable with technology and computer tools • Be able to use analysis reports and quickly assimilate new information • Experience in forklift operation is an asset American Iron & Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
