CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 or 3 Driver/Operators, Pressure & Vacuum at our Arcola, SK location! Opportunity to learn and gain experience on all pieces of equipment like vacuum truck, hydro-vac, high pressure water jetting and chemical cleaning units! Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools • Proficient with driving manual transmissions on commercial vehicles • 90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground! • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back • Ensure safety for all team members and property • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents • Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time • Provide guidance to Laborers as required • Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements Qualifications: • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required • Driving manual transmissions (10, 13 or 18 speed) is required, must be able to pass a CEDA’s driver assessment. • Experience in an industrial environment • SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) Certification is an asset • H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset • Mechanical experience would be a significant asset • Able to provide negative results on pre-employment and client pre-access drug and alcohol testing Skills: • Strong mechanical aptitude • Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment • Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis) • Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
