Clean Harbors is looking for Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious Chemical Cleaning team! You will be responsible to operate wet vat trucks, tankers, general yellow irons, and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities. Why drive for Clean Harbors? • Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! • Competitive wages and generous paid time off; • 20/10 shift rotation with camp available • Travel allowance to those who qualify • Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment; • RRSP with company matching component after 90 days of full-time employment; • Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career! • Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites; • Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods; • Performing pre and post trip inspections; • Communicating clearly with dispatchers; • Doing roadside repairs as needed; • Maintaining and cleaning company equipment. • Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license; • Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair; • Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience. • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged. • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment. • Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions. 40-years of sustainability in action.
