Job Duties • Manages all facets of a field laboratory operation to include employee development, staffing decisions, workload volume, technical projects, HSE policy, and department costs. • Uses knowledge of testing and procedural standards to ensure laboratory compliance with industry testing protocol, company best practices, and audit requirements. • Interfaces with PSLs and customers to troubleshoot complex technical issues and maintains a high level of service quality in the laboratory to support local field operations. • Competence in multiple PSLs is often required, and management of one or more laboratories may be necessary depending upon the scope of a district. Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Completion of an undergraduate degree in the sciences is typical, as well as five years of laboratory experience.
