Job Type: Permanent THE POSITION The Analyst, Liquids Infrastructure Financial Analysis supports forecasting, planning, financial analysis, and performance reporting for liquids infrastructure assets. The role prepares and analyzes month-end and quarter-end results, performance schedules, and variance explanations while applying accounting, commercial, and systems expertise to resolve issues, improve forecasts, and strengthen controls and documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES • Developing and maintaining multiple spreadsheets/models. • Understand and communicate proper finance procedures. • Consolidating and analyzing data from business units and communicating results. • Liaising with business units to obtain/disseminate budget data. • Providing support to the business units and other groups in respect of budget queries. • Maintaining and updating capital and OPEX forecasts. • Preparation of annual budgets. • Assist with AFE creation, tracking, and reporting. • Process journal entries as required. • Support the month end close process. • Assistance with site A/P processing and issue resolution. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree, majoring in accounting or finance. • 1 -2 years of applicable experience is preferred. • Ability to meet deadlines in a changing environment. • Highly motivated with strong analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong aptitude to learn new financial systems/software. • High level of proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Expert proficiency in MS Excel with complex functionalities. • Strong financial and quantitative analysis skills, efficient at collecting, collating, analyzing and displaying data. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation while delivering work in a timely manner. • Ability to research topics, research reporting solutions/alternatives and communicate findings effectively. • Ability to present information in a clear and succinct manner. • Self-starter/self-proficient showing strong initiative and independent judgement where required to meet tight timelines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within a dynamic team.
