Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply today to join the Ledcor Highways team in various locations across Alberta. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4c Work Conditions : • Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided) • As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required • Will be provided a pay rate of $21.50/hr with increases based on experience • Night shift premium $3/hr • Year round employment • Extended health, dental, pension and RSP plans Essential Responsibilities : • Perform various highway maintenance tasks repair and installation of guard rails and highway signs using various hand tools including post pounders, tampers, augers, drills, ladders and other elevated work platforms • Assist with traffic control procedures • Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment • Perform other road maintenance duties as required • Work outside in all weather conditions Qualifications : • Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing • Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks and comfortable working at heights • Strong knowledge and use of hand and power tools • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license • Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract • ESC Fall Protection ticket is an asset but not required Additional Information Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
