The Crewperson –Inspection I provides essential hands‑on assistance in the preparation, maintenance, and inspection of oilfield tools and Tuboscope equipment. Working primarily in Corpus Christi and Robstown, Texas, this role ensures surfaces are properly cleaned, buffed, and power‑washed to meet stringent quality and safety standards, supporting the overall reliability of oilfield operations. • Assist senior inspectors with visual and instrumented inspections. • Operate and maintain NOV Tuboscope equipment according to SOPs. • Perform surface preparation tasks including buffing, cleaning, and power washing. • Prepare work areas and equipment for NDT applications. • Document inspection results and cleaning activities in electronic logs. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations. • Maintain inventory of cleaning and coating supplies. • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. • Participate in routine tool calibration and maintenance. • High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred. • Basic knowledge of power tools and surface preparation techniques. • Experience with power washers, buffing tools, and cleaning agents. • Familiarity with NOV Tuboscope or similar inspection equipment. • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to work in outdoor, hot, and potentially hazardous environments. • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
