NOV is seeking a Service Technician in Odessa, TX, to perform necessary functions to service products associated with job/tool assignments while following procedures provided by the NOV Service Quality Team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Overall operation of preparation, service, and completion of Downhole tools • Service tools in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedure • To complete demands of the lead hand pertaining to tool production • Develop accurate and complete data pertaining to service documentation in a timely manner • Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment to perform duties required • Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines. • Participate in action plans for new projects defined by supervisor • Maintain the work environment as outlined by the shop supervisor JOB QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Experience related to the service of pertinent tools preferred • Forklift experience considered an asset • Must have reliable transportation • Must be able to work rotating schedule
