Role Overview $10,000 Relocation/Retention Teck Trail is pleased to offer a $10,000 relocation/retention bonus to successful candidates hired into this role. This incentive is available to eligible candidates and is designed to support your transition into the position. At Teck Trail Operations, you'll do more than maintain instrumentation. You'll play a critical role in keeping one of the world's largest fully integrated lead-zinc smelting and refining complexes operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Working alongside a skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced instrumentation systems that support more than 26 operating plants across our site. Key Responsibilities • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures • Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair field instrumentation and final control elements • Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities • Work collaboratively within a highly skilled maintenance team to maximize equipment reliability and performance • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational excellence Qualifications • Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Instrumentation Mechanic • Industrial experience especially in smelters or process plants is an asset • Familiar with Modicon PLCs and Wonderware HMIs • Experience with Foxboro and ABB systems is a bonus • WHMIS certification • Valid driver’s license Benefits • Relocation/Retention Bonues of $10,000.00 • Health Spending Account • Personal Spending Account • Extended Health Care • Dental and Vision Care • Employer Paid Pension Plan • Life Insurance and Disability Coverage • Paid Sick Leave, Vacation, and Holidays • Virtual Telemedicine and additional support for overall well-being • Employer and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) Pay Range: $52.47 per hour The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
