Location: Trail, BC, Canada Employment Type: Regular Full Time Workplace Type: On-site About Trail Operations Teck’s Trail Operations, located in the community of Trail in British Columbia, is one of the world’s largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Located in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern, British Columbia, Trail offers outdoor adventure at your fingertips. Role Overview Teck is looking for a Millwright(Industrial Mechanic) Apprentice (3rd/4th Year) to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Reporting to the Group Leader, the Millwright Apprentice is responsible for the below. Key Responsibilities • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures • Install, repair, maintain and adjust instruments used to measure and control processes and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of complex control systems Qualifications • Completion of Grade 12 (please submit a copy of certificate to application) • Completion of a Millwright(Industrial Mechanic) 3rd/4th course and/or • Minimum of 3-4 year as a sponsored Millwright apprentice and successful completion of 1 or more years of technical training • Required to have a Valid Driver’s License • Related industrial maintenance experience is preferred • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems is considered an asset Pay Range: $40.05- $46.95 The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
