This position is part of the Eastern Resources division, which provides a full range of services to industrial and mining operators. The Industrial Mechanical Technician/Designer (3D) will work from our Sept‑Îles office as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing construction projects for new infrastructure or modifications to existing facilities. Your Impact • Review client needs, specifications, and tender documents. • Contribute to establishing effective work methods for project delivery. • Support conceptual and feasibility studies for industrial projects of all scales. • Perform 3D modeling and design for various projects. • Produce drawings, specifications, and details based on industrial‑sector guidelines. • Ensure coordination among the various disciplines involved in projects. • Supervise and verify the work of mechanical technicians and designers. • Participate in estimating deliverables and schedules for project execution. • Participate in the launch of new projects and propose solutions to complex problems. • Identify and manage design issues through preventive and corrective actions. • Conduct field surveys on industrial sites using modern tools (drones, scanners, laser tape). • Perform construction site inspections in heavy industrial environments. Skills That Set You Apart • DEP or DEC in industrial drafting or relevant experience. • Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience. • Intermediate proficiency in the following software: Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit. • ASP Construction card (occasional travel). • Strong communication skills in French and strong teamwork abilities. Compensation • BC, AB, SK, NT & NU: $66,700 – $88,400 • MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800 • Atlantic Provinces & QC: $60,300 – $80,000 Disclosure: The final salary offered for this position may differ from the range above based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, geographic location, performance, and organizational needs.
