Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you'll gain hands-on exposure to planning, design, analysis, and project delivery while helping create sustainable transportation solutions that connect communities and move people safely and efficiently. Your Impact • Support the design and delivery of transit and rail engineering projects across a variety of transportation programs. • Assist with engineering calculations, technical analyses, and preparation of design documentation. • Contribute to drawings, reports, specifications, and project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers. • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to help develop innovative and sustainable transportation solutions. • Assist with field investigations, site visits, inspections, and data collection activities when required. • Support project coordination activities, including documentation management and progress tracking. • Apply engineering principles and emerging technologies to help improve transit and rail infrastructure performance. • Learn from industry experts while building technical, project management, and professional consulting skills. The Skills That Set You Apart • Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program, preferably Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Rail Engineering, or a related discipline. • Strong interest in transit systems, rail infrastructure, and sustainable transportation solutions. • Familiarity with engineering design principles and relevant software applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, or similar tools. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and project requirements. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments. • Willingness to participate in field assignments and site visits as required. • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, quality, and continuous learning.
