In this senior technical leadership role, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, partner directly with clients, and advance cooling solutions for enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, AI, cloud, and high-performance computing environments. Your Impact • You will lead mechanical design and technical delivery for complex mission critical facilities, helping clients achieve reliable operations, efficient performance, and capacity for future growth: • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of mechanical systems for enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, AI, cloud, and high-performance computing data centers. • Develop chilled water, pumping, heat rejection, air-cooled, and liquid-cooled solutions that support reliability, redundancy, maintainability, and operational continuity. • Integrate high-density cooling technologies, including direct-to-chip cooling, immersion cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, and coolant distribution units. • Perform and review thermal calculations, load assessments, cooling capacity studies, energy analyses, CFD studies, and airflow optimization strategies. • Coordinate mechanical design with electrical, structural, civil, controls, telecommunications, commissioning, and architectural disciplines. • Prepare and review basis-of-design reports, specifications, technical studies, calculations, and construction documents that enable confident project decisions. • Guide site visits, construction administration, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and operational readiness activities. • Mentor engineers and designers, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to proposals, strategic pursuits, and practice growth. The Skills That Set You Apart • • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. • More than 10 years of progressive mechanical engineering experience, including mission critical facilities, data centers, healthcare, industrial, advanced technology, or other complex infrastructure. • Demonstrated expertise in chilled water systems, cooling plants, pumping systems, heat rejection equipment, and air- and liquid-cooled data center architectures. • Experience with enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, AI, cloud, or high-performance computing projects, including Tier III or Tier IV facilities. • Knowledge of direct-to-chip cooling, immersion cooling, coolant distribution units, rear-door heat exchangers, CFD analysis, and thermal optimization. • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working directly with clients, contractors, utilities, vendors, and commissioning personnel. • Ability to balance technical excellence, project execution, client expectations, and commercial objectives while providing clear technical guidance. • Readiness to participate in site visits, commissioning, integrated systems testing, operational readiness reviews, and construction administration.
