Employer description

Functions are routine engineering and construction tasks within their department and on assigned projects. In addition to gaining knowledge from daily tasks and projects, candidates will also be given opportunities throughout the summer to develop their soft skills and take on leadership roles. RESPONSIBILITIES • Complete department tasks under the direction of an assigned supervisor • Perform discipline specific calculations and coding, as assigned • Assist technical service personnel in proper execution of drawings • Support discipline specific tasks for proposal work • Work on other miscellaneous projects, as assigned REQUIREMENTS • Must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering Program • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering • Classified as a Junior or Senior (preferred) • Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred) • Interest in leadership & personal development opportunities • Willingness to relocate for both internship and future full-time opportunities PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension.
