The Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) Manager at Zachry Group is responsible for the coordination, tracking, and successful integration of all Owner/Client-furnished equipment data and information on large-scale power generation EPC projects. This key leadership role ensures that Owner-supplied major equipment information (such as gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, HRSG modules, transformers, and control systems) is delivered on schedule, meets quality and interface requirements, and is seamlessly incorporated into Zachry’s EPC scope. The OFE Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Owner, Zachry’s engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams, and third-party vendors to protect the project schedule, mitigate risks, and minimize potential claims. In addition, the OFE manager will drive lesson learnt across the OEMs and customer portfolios related to the Owner-supplied major equipment. • In conjunction with the Project Managers, drive relationship, and operating rhythm with key equipment suppliers such as GEV, Vogt, Mitsubishi, Nooter, and others across the power generation industry. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive OFE management plan, including equipment tracking registers, open issues, interface matrices, risk registers, and documentation schedules. • Coordinate technical interfaces between Owner-furnished equipment and Zachry-procured scope, working closely with Engineering disciplines to resolve foundation, piping, electrical, and control system requirements. • Support quality assurance activities, including FAT/SAT witnessing, punch list resolution, and turnover documentation that might impact Zachry EPC projects. • Identify, document, and mitigate OFE-related risks; support timely resolution of issues and preparation of variation/claim documentation when necessary. • Prepare and deliver regular OFE status reports and presentations for internal leadership and Owner meetings. • Drive lesson learnt across the key equipment suppliers, projects, and customer portfolios. • Support project closeout and integration of OFE documentation to the Owner/Operator. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent proven experience in engineering and/or project execution roles. Experience: • 6+ years of progressive experience in EPC and/or major OEMs roles specifically on engineering and/or project execution. • Strong hands-on experience with major power equipment (GEV, Siemens, Mitsubishi turbines, Voegt, etc.) is highly preferred. • Deep knowledge of power generation equipment, EPC contract structures, and interface management. • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Strong ability to manage indirectly multi discipline teams • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix organization • Strong attention to detail and risk management mindset. Required Skills & Competencies This role is essential to the successful delivery of Zachry’s power generation projects and requires a proactive, technically strong professional who excels at stakeholder coordination and schedule protection.
